What I Do
Pilates is great for your physical and mental health. I am trying to make it accessible for as many people as possible by offering Mat, Zoom as well as Seated/Standing Pilates. Group and 1:1 classes are available via Zoom or at Harrow Arts Center. (Covid Secure) I Either sign up for a block of classes or pay as you go. (subject to space) Try a class for £10. ( free small Pilates ball when signing up for a block)

Mat Pilates is a great way to strengthen your whole body. I plan a program to work all the muscles in the body helping to improve your posture, strength, co-ordination and alignment. We will work through a combination of Joseph Pilates original 34 moves with a contemporary twist to keep up to date with current research. My aim is for you to feel amazing after every class. It is a great way to meet people and enjoy times with friends and family. (face to face following government covid guidelines) or via Zoom . Group and individual classes are available.
Working out with others is very motivating and a great way to meet people. I am running group classes on Zoom and Covid secure face to face classes. I teach small classes of no more than 12 to enable me to give more personal attention to you. I offer mat Pilates and Chair Pilates . Chair Pilates is based around a chair with optional standing work too.
I will help you achieve your personal goals whilst having fun with others.
One to one lessons (or small group)
For a more personal touch I offer one to one lessons or smaller groups! Face to face or via Zoom depending upon government guidelines and personal choice. One to one is suitable for anyone who wants to try or who loves Pilates ! I will make you a personalised program to achieve your goals.
Making a Positive Impact
Pilates is a great way to meet people and stay in shape. It focuses on movement, strength, breath, alignment and control as well as giving many other benefits to your physical and mental health. I believe that prevention is better than cure. I also feel passionately about keeping people active throughout their lives. I am currently offering Zoom and Covid Secure Face to face classes to enable individuals to continue to look after their physical and mental health.

I've been lucky enough to have been taking part in Karen's Pilates Zoom calls for a few months now. I've never done Pilates before but Karen explains everything really well and is always cautious to ensure we are doing moves correctly, which is reassuring as I have a history of back problems. Bambusa Pilates sessions have become the highlight of my week, not just for the physical changes that I can feel happening but also for my sanity during the lock down.
Karen is an amazing teacher and I can't recommend her highly enough.
